I'm so tickled to share that my work has been published in the amazing Uppercase Magazine!
This publication has long been my favorite of all time, so it was very special to have this moment!
Janine had a call for art under the theme, "revise and remix," and I knew I needed to share my half and half flower paintings.
These actually came out of a moment of frustration with some drawings I created in my sketchbook. (original drawings shown in image above). I ended up tearing a couple of them in half, and then gluing them into other compositions, and that got me excited! I created an entire series with this idea in mind, and they have become some of my favorite work.
